DOT Substance Abuse Assessments

Individuals who are employed in jobs that are defined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) as “safety-sensitive” (including truck drivers, pilots, train engineers, and others) and who fail a DOT mandated drug test at work must have an assessment done by a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP or Q-SAP) before they can return to duty.
